My love of photography started when I bought my first horse some twenty years ago.  I would sit for hours trying to capture an image which would convey the power and grace of a horse's movement. Since then photography has taken over my life and I rarely go anywhere without taking my camera. I was born in Birmingham but have lived most of my life in Worcestershire. I studied photography at Kidderminster College and the as an Army Reservist I also qualified as a specialist camera operator at the Defense School of Photography. I photographed my first wedding in 2007 and since then my clients have repeatedly recommended me.  In 2011 I completed an operational tour of Afghanistan and was tasked by my battle group to photographically cover a number of high profile events.  The finished images received great praise and were also used in several military publications.    I am also a member of a local photography group.
